The
Michigan Wolf Trap Program is a partnership between 1. All points listed in
"What
a center director should know..." 2. The teacher and aides are expected
to participate in all classroom sessions conducted by the
artist. Teachers must remain in the room during residency
sessions. 3. The teacher must be willing to
devote the necessary time in program planning, scheduling,
and implementation; this may require additional work hours
and phone conversations with artists in the evenings or on
weekends. 4. It is the job of the artist to work
with the teacher in developing new and effective teaching
strategies in the performing arts. The teacher must be
willing to try to use these activities when the artist is
not present, and also after the residency is completed.
5. The teacher will receive a Wolf
Trap-designed handbook and accompanying cassette tape that
should be used as resources in the classroom.
